EMBO and the European Science Foundation (ESF) annually co-sponsor a series of meetings, known as ESF/EMBO Symposia.
ESF/EMBO Symposia bring scientists together to discuss interdisciplinary topics at the interface of molecular biology with other disciplines such as: chemistry, physics, computer science, mathematics and modelling, space science, clinical medicine, engineering, environmental science, humanities and social science.
The forthcoming deadline to apply for funding for 2011 ESF/EMBO Symposia is 15 September 2009.
